Man, I'm with KJ, Christmas Story is an absolutely essential part of Christmas for me and has been forever. The fact that TNT runs a 24 hour marathon of it, every Christmas, is amazing. My Dad will run that shit the entire day and never get bored of it.

No joke that movie is going to absolutely wreck me once my Dad passes away. It actually keeps me up at night thinking about how much I associate my Dad with that movie and vice-versa.

THINGS THAT USUALLY CONVINCE ME TO PLAY MALES IN GAMES:

- the females have a really sissy-weird walk
- armor when applied to females becomes skimpy male fanservice
- the female models are male fanservice themselves
- really terrible female combat sounds and grunts
- emaciated character dimensions, usually paired with bubble tits that are larger than heads
- bubble tits

THINGS THAT USUALLY CONVINCE ME TO PLAY FEMALES IN GAMES

- it's impossible to make the males look like they're less than 40 years old
- it's impossible to make the males not look like steroid abusers
- poor or no face options which aren't "a modeler's best guess at action-movie grizzled grimacing"
- the males have a really chunky-weird walk
- the males have terrible dimensions to fit in model space constraints while still pandering to male power fantasy (the Male Draenei effect)
- crotchbulge and/or Shades of Liefeldian Anatomy

I'm picking the gender of my characters in TOR by voice actors. Basically they're all going to be female, except for Nolan North Jedi Consular and David Hayter Jedi Knight. I think there was a third, but I can't remember right now.

For the Jedi Knight quest line, where you discover that Lord Tarnis is in the Jedi Temple Ruins, my padawan companion disappeared. When the actual confrontation occurred, she still hadn't returned.

Is she supposed to be gone until you win or did I otherwise lose her? And if the latter, how the heck do I get her back, since soloing, the bastard's kicking my ass?

So there's a beginner quest for the Imperial Agent on Hutta, at like, level 3 where there's some differences in the options you have based on the player's gender.

Female IA gets to flirt with, and ultimately sleep with (heavily implied) a dude to keep him from blowing her cover.
A male IA does not have that option.

It triggers the second(?) time you enter the Hutt's inner sanctum. The guy is a Zabrak, if I remember correctly.

Edit: Assuming we're talking about the same event.
