They really do listen. This was my single biggest complaint. I'll still have to see how this does get implemented, but if this doesn't kill me because of a screw-up in their setup (like me getting stuck while crossing a bridge and not being able to move in any direction), then I'll take the occasional death.

I just don't know how much more SWTOR beta I have in me. I can't take playing these characters and then not getting to keep them. I have had the angst of not being able to log back into my original beta weekend Sorcerer and Smuggler.

Also, is anyone exceptionally nerdy/spergy/OCD like me and has planned out their race/class/profession choices for all the characters on both Repub and Empire side?

Somewhat loosely, but yes. At first I'll mainly be playing a Trooper/Commando to run with my guild, and then a Sith Warrior/Juggernaut for my "me time".

There's still a lot of research that I need to do into the particulars of the crafting skills, so the screws will get tightened some more over the next couple of weeks.

My Commando will probably be Armstech/Scavenging/Investigation, as I liked the way that played out in beta, and I'll probably keep her Human and Light Side. I have gotten no further than that.

I still haven't even finalized a class, though. I'm tempted to do a Dark Side Smuggler with Biochem/Bioanalysis. But then there are Jedi and Sith and oh my god this game.

I did that and spend 1/3 of the my Beta weekend time writing down what head/hair/beard/skin etc. numbers to use for them.

The SWTOR site's crafting page is nigh useless (http://www.swtor.com/info/systems/crew-skills).

What's a good resource to get nitty gritty details?

Here we go, found via Ars Technica. This image tells me everything I need to know. Also, it looks like a single Crafting Skill can be mostly self-sufficient by taking the one related Gathering Skill and a relevant Mission Skill. You may have a bit of a dependency if you want heavy armor, but need schematics, etc.

So. Is anybody else getting more and more skeptical and leery of this game as it goes on? Just because the website is so consistently having problems?

I haven't had it accept a password for more than a 48 hours. I'll go to the site, log in, check stuff out.

3 days later, go to log in-and it won't accept it. On all browsers?

So I go to reset the password, and it takes days and/or multiple tries to be able to.

That new password will subsequently not work the next time I log on.

Dealing with this for the 6th time right now. I've also tried across multiple computers in different locations, to no avail.

edit: I mean, I pre-ordered already. But I don't plan on just paying for a 3 month subscription right off the bat anymore, or even inputting credit card data at all-strictly game cards, if that's possible. If shit like this doesn't clear up? No matter the gameplay, I won't be playing long.
