I am seeing more and more ops every day as people are realizing that compared to snipers the are amazing, especially in pvp. My guild actually has 0 snipers.. all of our agents are ops.

I am having a blast as a Gunslinger in PVP... because I dropped my Sharpshooter spec and went Saboteur. I do kind of miss Ballistic Dampers, but it's more than made up for by the crazy kind of shit you can do with Sabotage Charge (+Contingency Charges) and a 3 second CD on Thermal Grenade.

It get's more interesting at the end of Act 1, Act 1 itself is the same story repeated for each planet basically until you meet the end boss/criteria on Alderaan - but that is true for all stories I've played so far.
I very much enjoy Act 2, as it really plays to the role I like to take most in RPGs: Wandering the galaxy, helping the helpless, believing every sob story some random guy throws at me and spewing ~~Chinese~~ Jedi platitudes like David Carradine in the Kung Fu TV series.
No idea about Act 3 yet, as I'm about to start it.

Supposedly it is - together with the Bounty Hunter story - one of the more boring/conventional ones.
From what i've played yet (most characters to end of Coruscant/Dromund Kaas) the IA and Inquisitor are my favourites story-wise.
I just wished the ratio between class story:side quest would be more 50:50 instead of 10:90.

I'll admit, Trooper Act 2 has been a bit of a lull. I am curious, though:

Did anyone manage to take Tavus in alive? I got him to stand down, tried to get him to appear in court to speak his case after telling him that two of his guys were still alive, but then he said Garza would never allow it and got back up to fight me with one HP. So I had to punch him with my gun for the kill.

The chat bug is super annoying and I am super glad for this maintenance if that fixes it. At current, my main and most of my alts most of the time cannot see any guild, officer, or party chat.

This patch is pretty necessary. Dancing with the /getdown command was a full-on, 100% aggro dump for anyone.

It's weird that an MMO would have problems and need frequent patching at launch, I agree.

Here is something I do like.

I love the fact that when you die in an instance the mobs don't repop, meaning you can just win through attrition even if you die over.. and over.. and over.

Right now my probe timer is at 10m because I've died like 4 times trying to get to this chick on Alderaan so I can cut her face in half with my saber.
