There needs to be more FO action on this. I have a level 36 Controller, level 20 Warshade, and a brand new blaster that I leveling pacted with my wife defender. But I play almost daily and do task forces every other day in those level ranges if people want to get on and play.

Edit: I'll probably wait til after my vacation to give it a try though. I'm going to be gone from July 2nd to July 12 approximately.

I've said things in-game, but we should organize a TF for the crew to collaborate on.

I've got, off the top of my head: a 50 blaster, a 50 corr, a 37 scrapper a 32 scrapper, a 17 brute, a 20-somethign brute, a late 20s tanker, an early 20s defender and a 17 dominator.

If we can get enough folks with Cimerora access together, I'd suggest an Imperious Task force, especially if folks haven't done it before. it's a fun 'un AND red and bluesiders can team up together.

I've got characters covering from 10 up to 50 (two in fact) on blueside, and only 2 redside: a 15 Demon/Thermal MM and a 31 Necro/Poison MM. The majority of the heroes are primarily in the mid-thirties to low forties.

I've tried the ITF once before. It was interesting, but dragged on for too long, and we never finished it. How long does it normally run?

It's not bad if you've got people who can tank it properly, if you don't, it's impossible.

Define 'normally'. A decent run will be ~90-120 minutes. The more frequent speed run is probably 20-30.

And it is a breeze to tank, at least on my pimped out brute.

If I remember correctly, it was the stupid Nictus that ruined us. We had Imperious down most of the way, and the Nictus kept getting us killed. It didn't help that we took too long for some people who had to leave because it was getting late.

There are various stratagems for the final boss, ranging form 'drag the Nictus' away and kill the healing one' to 'out DPS the guy x4'.

Losing people, however, will DEFINITELY hurt you. A lot.

I hope they have free character transfers with Going Rogue's release, when I made my characters way back in '06, the servers were better populated. Now.. I've never even done a Task/Strike force (My characters weren't high enough level before.)

Well, there's plenty of other TFs. We could do the span of all the Phalanx's blueside...start with the new Posi, and run the gamut over several days.
Or the one with Rechsman...ro something. Just tossing out ideas here!

So. What SF/TF are we doing and when are we doing it?

Okay....I prompose one of 3 (or 4, technically)
1) Imperious Task Force: Fun, but with a tricky end boss fight. 35+, can be done red or blue side.
2) Either a Dr. Khan (Blueside) or Barracuda (Redside) Task Force: not super difficult, but the end boss again...is a doozy (Reichsman. We'd need to birng along a debuffer or two). Levels 45-50.
3) I have yet to try the new Positron task forces (Blueside, like...level 15ish), which would probably be the least 'tricky' ones of the bunch.

And timewise, well...what would work best for everyone?

Saturday is out for me; I'll be gone most of the afternoon until late night. Friday evening or Sunday or Monday (all day for both, at this point) should be fine for me.

As for which one, I really can't do much from the redside, but I can cover just about anything blueside. I haven't done the new Posi yet, so I am curious, to say the least.
