YAY!
I have to say, my favorite running "Raylanism" is getting in the back seat of a car that is supposed to be tailing/watching him. It cracks me up every time. |

He's barely calm and cool, he's more barely contained rage, and also the writing is so smart and entertaining and clever UGH. Also those shootings are coming back to haunt him, they aren't just letting it go. :|

He didn't really shoot anyone in the last episode (he shot at a guy but that was an extremely different situation from the showdowns people complain about for some reason.) He didn't shoot anyone in last week's episode. I'm pretty sure he didn't shoot anyone in the episode about his dad. He didn't shoot anyone in the second episode (the sniper sidekick did).
There have been seven episodes so far, and that is more than half of them without Raylan drawing on somebody. That's pretty restrained for an Elmore Leonard crime drama on FX about a lawman in a cowboy hat. |

How great was Stephen Root in this episode?
I really want to talk about how Boyd's story is developing, because it's pretty remarkable, and Walton Goggins is really incredible in this show. |

This show is really building up to some badassness. Root was amazing as usual. I dont think i remember seeing him in anything i didnt like. Amazing character actor. Im liking the dynamic behind Boyd and his father, even though Papa Crowder has been in only 2 eps(briefly at that) he has made a pretty big impact. I cant wait to see where everything is going to go.
My only wish is that the other Marshalls get involved a bit more.

Thats who i was thinking of actually. I love the boss guy also, he and Raylans' conversations are hilarious. I also expect him to show off some of his badassness with a gun soon. He and Raylan taught 'gunfightin' at the marshall schools or whatever. I suspect he will save Raylan at some point.
Spoilers for what i think might happen I have a feeling Raylan wont be able to kill Boyd. I think it will be more of a Joker/Batman dynamic. Not saying he wont die, i just expect it to be someone else behind the trigger.

I think Boyd has reformed and the tension will be epic because Raylan doesn't believe him at all and the fact that he just accidentally blew up an undercover agent lol. I also expect more from the dude's in FL after Raylan?

We really don't know if his worried look after finding out there was someone in the building was because he is sorry that he killed someone due to actually being reformed, or because this means that the police will be looking far more closely at the explosion and some of his followers might be tempted to turn him in to Raylan for the reward. Everything that he's done after getting out of prison could be motivated by his reformation or by his desire to keep "stealing money and blowing shit up." Even his new flock is in the same pattern as the group of Neo-nazis he led.

This show has the best dialogue on tv right now. I'm loving all the little things. That little half smirk that Boyd gave could be taken as a smirk or a "oh shit". I love that we know as much as Raylan and Boyds' cousin and aren't sure what his exact motives are.
