I am saddened by being out of the playoffs, but happy to know that our young players just got a shitload of experience. Next year will be crazy good, and teams will be hoping to avoid a matchup with us.

Yeah, there's really not any fun teams left. Oh well, time to hope for a Rangers-Devil ECF so that A) the assholes in Philadelphia and Washington doesn't win anything and B) we'll get a proper grudge series.

I really had to scrounge to find any reason to pull for any of the teams left. Usually, after the Red Wings are out I pull for the Canadian teams, because it really is their sport.

But, the East leaves me feeling flat, and in the West, I hate St. Louis, and Phoenix and LA are so far out west, I want them to lose just so the puck drops aren't at 10:30 pm.

Which leaves me with Nashville. I don't usually pull for the team that eliminated mine, but here we are. They have really great fans, who are knowledgeable, and they were totally good to my wife, who went to Game 2 in Red Wings gear, so I appreciate that.

But if they lose to the 'Yotes, I may actually have to watch baseball...........

Anyways, I'd be glad to get Luongo out of the Western Conference. He's upgraded from "would waive his no-trade" to "asked for a trade". The hot spots are Toronto or Tampa Bay

In december I bet a buddy 50$ that Toronto wouldn't make the playoffs this year with a potential of doubling it if they reach the second round(but he had to double if they ended up as a lottery team).

The chump laughed at me and accepted the bet. I've still not decided what to do with the money; thinking of buying him a Boston Seguin jersey.
