That's standard starting fare, yeah. Most teams don't go over 4 rerolls. A lot of it is how you play. I tend not to use all my rerolls by playing mostly safe stuff.

Chaos on the other hand need 1 for every attempt they make to pick up the ball before getting some positional development underway.

My basic plan for the dwarves was the same (tough the first match out, buy apo first thing)...then I rolled a 1 for winnings. Rerolled to 1.

And the validation bug turned it into 80k.

Remember, Norse are actually squishier than you. If you knock them down, they're more likely to get hurt than you. That was my problem against Test Baby's High Elves. I shouldn't(oh Nuffle) get knocked down much, but AV7 means you're gonna lose people when down as opposed to AV 8.

Yeah, the Forumopolis Intro League exists for this purpose. It doesn't see a whole lot of use, but people have various teams in it for that reason. I have a few Extreme concept teams in it for people to practice against specific things. (Elfball team, Running Skaven team, bashing team, and all snotling team)
