It's the reason I went with Skaven over Wood Elves. I wanted to go WE but one bad game can kill their season and with that many bashers around having at least one bad game is likely. Skaven players are cheaper, which makes it possible to recover from getting maimed.

That and I couldn't come up with a name I liked for a Wood Elf team.

It'll be fun when the entire rest of the division loads up on Tackle first to deal with the one Skaven team and then all basher-on-basher games end as 0-0 stalemates because no one took killing skills and we have 16 turns of 11 on 11 clusterfuck-pile-on's at the halfway line.

I'm currently sketching out possible defensive and offensive formations for my Skaven and it occured to me there are two simple rules that will help you win (or at least not lose) games, but they are not things that new coaches would think of until they get burned once or twice.

When you're setting up your men:

• On offense, keep every players of yours that is not involved in blocking or assisting a block against the opponent's LoS in the first turn one square away from the LoS.
• On defense, put no more than three players on the LoS (unless your seriously, seriously, seriously outmuscle your opponent). Keep everyone else at least two squares back.

Since there won't be many new coaches in the EU division I don't mind sharing!

Four divisions for the league is awesome. But for me I'm a little worried - I'll be gone for a good piece of the beginning if we start this up before April. Might get knocked out right quick because I'll be rollin' around in a Jeep Wagoneer causing trouble with some friends and away from bloodbowl for a few weeks.

Gonna have to win every game I actually play in order to even stand a chance! ack.

Top four of each division will reach the playoffs so you should have a decent chance to fight back. Remember, you face each team twice since we go with a double round robin.

Yup.

Also, with Teb's team approved(yay vampires) we need teams from Fara, Rage_Incarnate, Bassetking, Megalonziro, Phoenix-D and Sven Stryker. After that, we're good to go.

This doesn't mean that we don't accept more teams. However, if you apply you'll be assigned as a replacement on a first-come first-serve basis. That means that if we have dropouts who miss two games in a row without just cause they'll be replaced. You'll be a suitable replacement all season and in order to stay fair you'll play as many friendlies as the rest of us have played league games.

OK. Two things.

1. No not the bare-footed assassins! Not the sexy shoeless gods of Bloodbowl!

2. For faint chance read no chance. I've got about as much chance of getting through my division as a halfling team has of winning a match against a full-strength Chaos squad 3 - 0.

On the other hand, if you want me to comment a match, I can do it. All you need to do is to send me a PM with any important / amusing actions laid out in consectutive order. If you can insert a pointer to half time that will help as well. The more information you give me (player names, failed actions) the more I can easily write.

I reserve the right to refuse to do it, based on my schedule.
