I think it's pretty well balanced with the relative scarcity of materials for making Daedric equipment. On the point that smithing dragonbone serves absolutely no purpose once you've got Daedric Smithing, I agree, but not enough to really say I'm "annoyed" by it. You simply don't take the Dragon Smithing perk on the heavy armor path unless you want to train up your Light Armor skill with dragonscale, or you don't feel like taking the time to hunt down enough Daedra hearts.

Just remembered I meant to check this: Mounted combat doesn't include magic, right?

The Falmer were in the vanilla game, just devolved/altered. I assume you mean to say that the Falmer in the Dawnguard area of the game are not devolved/altered?

Found a new character I love, Jaaboo the Orc Necromancer. Playing with the Apocalypse Spell mod that adds a handful of new spells such as summoning skeletal/draugr creatures. I have no idea if they receive benefits from the conjuration perks other than dual casting but I will say this. There's something about a heavily armored necromancer who can just summon a sword, flip out and kill everything when his minions can't get the job done.

The woman that voices Serana also voices Shin-chan. Is your mind not blown?

My Lizard Blizzard Wizard is, ironically, freezing his scales off with the Hypothermia mod. Do I need to make camp during every snowstorm or is there a way to keep myself sufficiently warm? Currently wearing a black leather cloak, Apprentice Destruction robes, Novice hood, iron boots and leather bracers.

Making camp helps, or if you must venture out during a blizzard, get yourself a set of Fur cold-weather gear for travelling (enchanted with Frost Resist if you have the enchanting talent, like Trickster said).
Also, I know this sounds obvious but don't fall into the water. |

And yes, if you have Hypothermia installed you pretty much need to have enough firewood for a campfire on you at all times - if you get dunked into water, there's no way to keep ahead of the cold otherwise.

Argonians are supposed to ignore Saturation from dunking, apparently. I don't think they actually do, though.
There seems to be a lack of winterized wizard wear in the game, even with the cloaks mod. I guess I'll have to keep a spare set of clothes with frost resist for bad weather. |

Uggggggggggh how many damn sidequests are these vampires gonna make me do? I just wanna finish the main vampire questline! More to the point, why am I such a completionist that I feel I absolutely have to do every mission they send me out on?

Are you sure the quests end? I thought some of the radiant quests could be done over and over again.

UI - Sky UI (greatly improves menus) - Skyrim Script Extender (what you need to run SkyUI) - Categorized Favorites Menu (a must-have) - A Quality World Map (makes the map a lot nicer, you can zoom and rotate) - NoHUD - Compass Removed Only (My personal fave for exploration; no more Compass to tell you about every "secret" in a 10 mile radius before you discover them) Visual - Enhanced Distant Terrain (makes vistas look nicer) - Enhanced Night Skies (very pretty) - Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing (one of the better lighting mods. Nice interplay of light and dark, having a torch in a dungeon is a Good Idea (tm)) Gameplay - More Complex Needs (you need to eat and drink and sleep. Also nutritious and high protein diets actually make you stronger) - Hypothermia (the cold weather and snowstorms will harm you, bundle up!) - Camping Lite (you can make a tent with a bedroll and a campfire, useful to stave off hypothermia) - Cloaks of Skyrm (adds a bunch of regular and unique cloaks to the game, some magical, others for lore, they also protect from cold weather (Hypothermia)) Combat - Duel - Combat Realism (Blocking and Parrying are redesigned, combat AI is generally improved. Combats are harsher and more decisive) - Crimson Tide (Better blood splatters) - Dance of Death (Adds a bunch of Killmoves, including unique killmoves for different skill levels in each weapon type) Crafting - Complete Crafting Overhaul (a big overhaul of the way blacksmithing works, makes it more balanced and slightly less broken) - Smithing Perks Overhaul (part of the Complete Crafting Overhaul) - Weapon and Armor Fixes (part of the Complete Crafting Overhaul) - Syynxs Improved Potions (Makes Potions heal over time (so you can't chain-chug), increases the duration of buff potions to 5 minutes) - Combine Potions (Allows you to "cook" smaller potions into larger ones by combing them) |
