I made a few posts concerning the title in the big ass fighting game thread but now that all the info is finally out along with footage I thought I'd make an announcement thread for the debut of the game.

Here's the GTTV episode with the first footage of the game.

Some basic info of the game:

- HOLIDAY RELEASE
- more news coming at E3 (duh)
- 60 FPS confirmed (nerds)
- multiplayer with options
- 3rd party characters are in
- pretty sure characters retain the graphical style they used in their respective games
- 3 layers of super for each character
- Looks like life bars instead of numbers
- Hades stage (hades doing things during the fight)
- Buzz stage (get quizzed DURING the fight)
- LBP stage (starts off empty, stage builds as you play)
- Sandover Village stage
- Ratchet and Clank stage with Hydra from GoW
- Patapons doing things to Hades, combining characters for stages
- fat princess
- sly (can turn invisible cuz he stealthy)
- kratos
- Sweet Tooth
- Radec (his 3rd super is going into first person mode and fucking shit up)
- Parappa

I'm really disappointed by the responses of how it's "Shameless" that I've been reading. Yes it borrows a few things from Smash Bros. but this kind of mash up has been a long time coming for the Playstation brand and I am a sucker for crossover titles that expand the big-ass gaming crossover chart.

I'm totally stoked for the game. Don't care if it's a "rip off" or whatever. Because I too am a sucker for crossover stuff.

Snake (assuming he's in) will finally get to meet Gabe Logan and settle things. Assuming there is any Siphon Filter representation in the game.

Yeah, both characters were bought up looooooong ago and have shown up on countless consoles. But they were staple Playstation mascots for a long time too. Crash at one point was even being considered by Sony to be an official mascot for the system.

They're both very important to the Playstation's history and it's a damn shame they won't be represented here.
