I want to see it. I might see it tomorrow if I can fit it in.
Edit: Or I could see it tonight. There's an 11:45 show I can possibly make. |

I saw it. I liked it a lot. With Christ Pratt, Mindy Kaling and Alison Brie in it they could have called it "thursday night TV gabfest: the movie".

Okay, maybe I had high expectations but I was disappointed. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it like I thought it would. I think it felt like there was another half hour or so of the movie, then they edited out the wrong stuff and left in things that still could've been funny, but just shortened.
Also, I liked Emily Blunt's character for the most part, but really didn't like how selfish she was, especially when she basically told him it was okay to be selfish... I definitely think he should've communicated a LOT better with her about how he felt but it was pretty clear how unhappy he was in Michigan. At least in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, you can kind of understand why things fell apart for them, and it wasn't just her fault (Jason Segel and Kristen Bell). But here it just seemed to all fall apart when they moved to Michigan and she wasn't really willing to compromise for his happiness.

If I were to compare it to other Jason Segel movies, I'd say it's not as good as either Forgetting Sarah Marshall or I Love You Man, but I still liked it.

I have no idea what that movie is, and I though this would be a thread to promise to do some stuff in 5 years.

We were disappointed as well. The movie lasted too long in some parts. Could have easily cut 20-30 minutes and it would have been better.
