Vancouver Forumites, how's the work situation out there?

I ask because a friend of mine is looking to head out there in the near future looking for work and I'd love to be able to pass along current info to him.

He's looking for a management position, ideally in a content based industry like advertising/media/games. So if you guys know anything about that specifically, it would be really appreciated.
